DECA Recovery Process

PSE was contracted to design and build a DECA recovery process that utilized previously unused product in waste ponds. Our team devised a way to connect the new mechanical equipment, piping and material handling equipment into existing pipe lines and structures. PSE was able to do the tie-ins during scheduled maintenance downtimes. A new 40’x40’x45’ building was required to support all of the DECA process equipment from a crystallizer to cooling towers. PSE was also responsible for the MCC building and instrumentation design, including start-up and commissioning.
