PSE is uniquely qualified to automate oil seed crush plants that produce expelled meal. PSE has teamed with Insta-Pro, one of the manufacturers of the equipment to produce this type of meal, to successfully automate this type of equipment and the overall crush plant.
Each Insta-Pro extruder/press system comes with its own local control panel. Interfaces have been developed between the controller in the local panel and the plant-wide control system utilizing Ethernet I/P and an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC to supervise extruder/press operations and control the entire plant. Our 25 years of experience in oil seed processing in both extraction and crushing operations provides a solid foundation for our automation systems.
