After careful review of the mine’s process system, PSE provided engineering for a major plant upgrade and assisted in a successful commissioning. For the upgrade, PSE converted an existing longwall water waste stream into a trona solution mining process stream. The work included the design of two new process buildings, MCC control systems, several high capacity storage tanks, piping and power distribution.
